During the evaluation, students will participate in specific groups addressing the student’s core treatment needs. Some examples of groups offered are sexual abuse survivor, grief, adoption, mood disorder, thinking errors, anger management, relapse prevention, recreation, and substance use. Each student is assigned a Licensed Clinical Therapist as a primary therapist to create and guide treatment plan, and provide individual therapy, Family therapy, and group therapy. The medical staff monitors students with special health needs.
Each week LifeLine holds a Multi-Disciplinary Team Meeting to discuss student progress and treatment planning. Staff discuss their current identified problems, family circumstances, and evaluate their response to medication, if applicable. This meeting creates a comprehensive assessment report needed to correlate treatment planning for each individual student and their family for the following week.
